The Advanced Electric Propulsion Certification Program facilitated by ACEL Power is eligible for all individuals wanting to upgrade their skills to meet the growing demand in the emerging marine industry. Your employees gain hands-on experience, giving them the edge to be a leader in the field.
There are grants available through the B.C. Employer Training Grant where employers may be reimbursed for a portion of the costs.

This training program is open to BC-based employers and participants working in the marine industry.

Up to $10,000 per participant, capped at $300,000 per employer per year

Funding is provided through the B.C. Employer Training Grant and reimbursed upon successful completion and certification.

Ongoing. Applications Open April 1, 2025.

All training must be completed—and reimbursement claimed—within this fiscal year.

$2,500 per participant

Employers pay the full training cost upfront. Once certification is completed and proof of payment is submitted, 80% of the cost is reimbursed by the Province of BC.

30 participants Credit toward an 18ft boat with 50HP motor

Referral Program

Earn $500 for every participant you refer or $1000 per participant if you refer a company With more 20 participants. Grow your network, empower your peers, and strengthen the electric marine industry—together.
